Last week, EEBUS participated in the two day event ๐— ๐—ฒ๐—ฒ๐˜๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฒ, organised byย MeterPan GmbH, which brought together over 200 participants from across the metering ecosystem, including small and medium sized metering point operators, device manufacturers in metering technology, smart meter gateway providers and energy management service providers.

With the ๐—ถ๐— ๐—ฆ๐˜†๐˜€ ๐—ฟ๐—ผ๐—น๐—น๐—ผ๐˜‚๐˜ now underway and the number of installed systems steadily increasing, discussions clearly reflected the next major challenge: processes in front of the meter. In particular, the integration, communication and data platform interaction between metering point operators, distribution system operators and other market participants are becoming increasingly critical.

On Day 2,ย Annike Abromeitย delivered a presentation titled โ€œ๐—ฆ๐—ฒ๐—ฐ๐˜‚๐—ฟ๐—ฒ ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฑ ๐˜€๐˜๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฑ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ฑ ๐—ฏ๐—ฎ๐˜€๐—ฒ๐—ฑ ๐—ฐ๐—ผ๐—บ๐—บ๐—ถ๐˜€๐˜€๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด ๐—ผ๐—ณ ๐—ฐ๐—ผ๐—ป๐˜๐—ฟ๐—ผ๐—น๐—น๐—ฎ๐—ฏ๐—น๐—ฒ ๐—ฑ๐—ฒ๐˜ƒ๐—ถ๐—ฐ๐—ฒ๐˜€ ๐—ฎ๐˜ ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฒ ๐—ด๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐—ฑ ๐—ฐ๐—ผ๐—ป๐—ป๐—ฒ๐—ฐ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป ๐—ฝ๐—ผ๐—ถ๐—ป๐˜โ€, focused on how ๐—˜๐—˜๐—•๐—จ๐—ฆ, ๐—ถ๐—ป ๐—ฐ๐—ผ๐—ผ๐—ฝ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป ๐˜„๐—ถ๐˜๐—ต ๐—™๐—ก๐—ก, enables ๐˜€๐˜๐—ฟ๐˜‚๐—ฐ๐˜๐˜‚๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—ฑ ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฑ ๐˜€๐˜๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฑ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ฑ๐—ถ๐˜€๐—ฒ๐—ฑ ๐—ฐ๐—ผ๐—บ๐—บ๐˜‚๐—ป๐—ถ๐—ฐ๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป and ๐—ฝ๐—ฟ๐—ผ๐—ฐ๐—ฒ๐˜€๐˜€๐—ฒ๐˜€ ๐—ฎ๐˜ ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฒ ๐—ด๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐—ฑ ๐—ฐ๐—ผ๐—ป๐—ป๐—ฒ๐—ฐ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป ๐—ฝ๐—ผ๐—ถ๐—ป๐˜ and within the customer installation behind the meter.

We appreciate the valuable exchange and look forward to continuing the discussion around interoperable and secure energy communication.
