The EEBUS Initiative is pleased to announce the appointment of three new board members. Markus Hettig, VP Building Business DACH Europe Operations at Schneider Electric, Andreas Habermehl, Managing Director Technology and Vocational Training at the German Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers’ Association (ZVEH) and Dieter Kehren, Head of Smart Heating at the German Heating Industry Association (BDH) have joined the board, bringing a wealth of expertise and leadership to the organisation.

Many thanks to the outgoing board members: Stefan Pachner, Michael Teigeler and Christian Lehnert for all the effort and energy they have put into EEBUS over the last years. We are very grateful that some of them continue to support EEBUS as ambassadors.

We are further pleased to announce that Gunnar Steg of Volkswagen AG has taken over the role of first chairman from Peter Kellendonk. We would like to thank Peter Kellendonk for his outstanding contribution and guidance to this point and are looking forward to his continued support as a member of the Board.

With the newly elected board, EEBUS is well positioned to meet the challenges of the coming years: Nationally, to create an installed base of EEBUS devices – particularly motivated by §14a EnWG – while internationally emphasising the benefits of EEBUS well beyond 14a.

EEBUS continues to drive innovation and collaboration in the smart energy sector – the best is yet to come!
