We cooperate with the leading Italian Association of Energy@home. The aim of the NPO: the development and promotion of energy-efficient technologies and services in the Smart Home.
In December 2012 the two organizations signed a collaboration agreement in order to jointly work to pursue the idea and realization of an pan-European Smart Home, in order to adopt a common data model, and bring in support from the European Standardization Committee.
Open Internet Consortium (OIC), USA
The strategic liaison agreement between the EEBus Initiative e. V. (EEBus) and Open Interconnect Consortium (OIC) allows the two organizations to collaborate on specification development and certification programs, helping to increase interoperability and ease of use, while minimizing duplication of effort and fragmentation. The results will help accelerate the speed with which the vision of IoT becomes a reality.
BACnet Interest Europe (BIG-EU)
The EEBus Initiative and the BACnet Interest Europe (BIG-EU) connect their competences in the field of Smart Grid/Smart Metering and building automation. Both organisations sign a cooperation agreement to exchange information that simplifies the data transfer. A unified interface, which illustrates the requirement of the Smart Grid/Smart Metering on devices and applications in the building automation, has to be developed in a common working group together with BACnet.
In early 2014 a cooperation with the enOcean Alliance has been signed. In the context of the cooperation it is envisaged to enable enOcean components being integrated into EEBus systems, based on common use cases.
LonMark International is a global association particularly promoting building automation systems based on the ISO / IEC 14908-1 standards.
The cooperation agreement creates a basis to exchange information and expertise between the two organizations. Amongst others, a joint working group is planned to develop a comprehensive networking concept to enable LON devices for new Smart Grid / Smart Metering functions.
KNX stands for mature and globally enforced intelligent networking of modern home and building system technology according to EN 50090 and ISO / IEC 14543rd. EEBus and KNX form an alliance to multivendor interoperability of smart energy systems and devices.
ZigBee Alliance is an international association with more than 400 companies, aiming to advance the "Internet of things" through improved connectivity. Through the cooperation, the integration of ZigBee devices in EEBus structures will be be ensured.
