The EEBus Initiative e.V. is responsible for the leading cross-industry standard for interoperability in the energy system. Together with companies from the
energy, smart home, mobility, and building technology sectors, we develop solutions for the
energy system of the future. EEBUService GmbH supports manufacturers and
market partners with services such as testing and certification.

To expand our team, we are looking for a Communications Manager (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible. In this role, you will be responsible for communications for EEBus Initiative e.V. and EEBUService GmbH, further developing them strategically and implementing them operationally.

Responsibilities:

Public Relations 

• Development and implementation of a continuous communication strategy
• Writing and reviewing texts for internal and external target groups
• Creation of press releases, expert articles, statements, and presentations
• Maintaining and expanding our media contacts 

Website & Content Management

• Design and creation of website content for EEBus Initiative e.V. and
  EEBUService GmbH
• Management of updates in cooperation with internal website administrator
• Structuring of content and SEO-oriented optimization
• Development of new content such as FAQs, landing pages, and project information

Member & Customer Communication

• Planning and implementation of newsletters for members (e.V.) and customers
  (GmbH)
• Creation of informational materials, white papers, and campaign texts
• Communication regarding services such as certification and testing

Marketing & Communication Campaigns

• Management of social media channels (focus on LinkedIn)
• Design and implementation of own webinars and online events
• Close coordination with the event management department for external trade fair appearances and internal events such as EEBUSummit & Plugfest
• Support in the preparation and communication of trade fairs, events, and
  partner appearances

Strategic development

• Establishment of consistent communication processes for EEBus Initiative e.V. and
  EEBUService GmbH
• Further development of our brand and communication guidelines
• Close cooperation with event management, management, board of directors, and
  expert circles

Requirements:

Professional Qualifications

• Degree in communications, PR, journalism, marketing, or
  comparable qualification
• At least two years of professional experience in communications or PR roles,
  ideally in tech, energy, digitalization, mobility, or associations
• Excellent writing skills in German; very good English skills
• Experience in social media (LinkedIn), content management, and newsletter tools
• Ability to present complex technical content in an understandable way
• Basic knowledge of CMS and strong understanding of digital communication
