Ready for Section 14a EnWG

With the Power Limitation solution, grid operators can temporarily limit the power of controllable devices to protect local grid stability. In Germany, Section 14a EnWG makes this mandatory: since 2024, new controllable devices such as heat pumps, EV chargers and energy storage systems must be dimmable by the grid operator in the event of grid congestion. The Federal Network Agency (BNetzA) names EEBUS as a suitable interface in its regulatory documents.
